About Stuart’s Photography
My name is Stuart Deal and I have been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. Ever since I received my first SLR camera for my 12th birthday I have been hooked on the magic of photography. Four years later I photographed my first wedding and have since spent many years working as a wedding and portrait photographer as well taking photographs for my own pleasure. In fact, it was while I was living and travelling abroad – taking photographs wherever I went – that I decided to turn professional on my return to the UK.
In the late 90s I decided to ‘go digital’ and now use the latest Canon EOS 5d Mark 2 SLR (single lens reflex) camera. This allows me to create the highest quality images -but at a price that is affordable to my customers (I can take hundred of photos, then edit them down to a select few, as well as being able to send / provide images electronically).
I learn something new about photography every day and strive to create the most beautiful images I can, using the skills, light, locations and situations that are available to me. I live with my girlfriend Emma in the cathedral city of Canterbury and often work from home where I have a fully equipped portrait studio.
I am a qualified photographer with the British Institute of Professional Photography.
